Beyond Blu at Mile Wide

It’s that time of year when the weather is nearly perfect in the evenings, so for those seeking some live music entertainment in the downtown Owensboro area, Mile Wide Beer Co. has got you covered this weekend. Beyond Blu, a band local to both Kentucky and Indiana, will be performing on Saturday, October 9 from 8-11 p.m. This upbeat, electric blues band plays both original songs and covers, and is widely renown across the region for providing a good time. This show is free to attend, so give yourself a chance to relax, try some local beers, and let the good times roll.

Pumpkin Picking at Trunnell’s

The leaves may not be orange quite yet, but the pumpkins sure are! Head on over to Trunnell’s Farm Market this weekend to kick off the 2021 pumpkin-picking season! Trunnell’s has TONS of different pumpkins in their patch for you to choose from. They’ve got you covered on the traditional jack-o-lanterns, but you can also find your classy white pumpkins, stacking pumpkins and Cinderella-style gourds. Trunnell’s Fall Farm Experience just started, so after you’ve picked out your pumpkin (or five, or 10), check out the farm’s giant corn maze, animal barnyards and the Grain Train.
