The Cottage is hosting Paint Your Pumpkins this Saturday, and this event is going to give you all the Fall feels. Located at 6869 KY-56, The Cottage has tons of locally grown pumpkins to choose from, and prices range from $1.50 to $10. And the venue supplies the paints and brushes for free! Feel free to get some great photos with their straw bale sculptures, score a hot cocoa bomb and/or try one of The Cottage’s many homemade soups while you’re there! The Oct. 23 event runs from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

Girls Day Out

One of the biggest shopping events of the year, Girls Day Out will be held at the Owensboro Convention Center on Saturday, October 23 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Grab your favorite shopping partners and spend the day in downtown Owensboro as you wind your way through over 70 diverse vendors to choose from. And don’t feel too guilty about how much you spend because this event is free! This is the perfect chance to make a dent in that holiday shopping list you’ve been thinking about (or avoiding), and there’s something for everyone here!

That Golden Girls Show! A Puppet Parody 

For fans of The Golden Girls, you’re going to love this show at the RiverPark Center. On Tuesday, October 26, “That Golden Girls Show!” will bring your favorite classic characters to the stage, but with a twist. Rose, Dorothy, Sophia and Blanche will be acting out all your favorite moments as puppets! Get set for an evening of cheesecake, laughter, jazzercise, shoulder pads, sex and stories from St. Olaf. According to officials with RPC, “Devoted fans of the show will fondly remember our four girls from Miami, and for first-timers, this will be a joyful introduction to the brilliance of that TV series.” The show starts at 7 p.m.!
