Nitty Gritty Dirt Band

With a refreshed lineup and newfound energy, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band is more than ready to show you a good time this Sunday. Held at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum on September 26, one of the most accomplished bands in American roots music will be taking the stage at 6 p.m. A band with an amazing history, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band toured Europe with Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash at the peak of their country career. The band went on to win three Grammys and CMA Award for Album of the Year in 1989. The band went on to win another Grammy for their song, “Earl’s Breakdown,” which was recorded alongside Earl Scruggs, Vassar Clements and Jerry Douglas.
