Visit the Owensboro Museum of Fine Art from Saturday, August 7 to the end of October and explore the region’s finest major artists working in three-dimensional media. This exhibition includes objects in clay, glass, metal, fiber, wood, and mixed media. To kick off the exciting exhibition, on Saturday, August 7 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. an invitational exhibition will be held to showcase more than two dozen Southeastern artists who are recognized for their accomplishments in interior, architectural and environmental design. Lanham Brothers Jamboree

Jam the night away at the Lanham Brothers Jamboree! On Saturday, August 7, brothers Barry and Randy Lanham will celebrate bluegrass roots music, clogging, and Kentucky arts at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum. Featured performers include Corey Merritt, Leland Isbill, Jade Hagan, Mackenzie Bell, Kentuckiana, and the Foodstompin Express Cloggers. It’s going to be a fun night celebrating all things Kentucky! This event is also being professionally recorded to be aired on Kentucky Educational Television (KET). Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. Bar and concessions will be available. Sunset Cruisers Car Show

Cruise on into downtown Owensboro for this month’s Sunset Cruisers Downtown Cruise-In. The month of August features all things Ford. Enjoy the Show on Saturday, August 7 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Enter on 3rd St and Allen St. All makes and models are welcome. The show happens only a block away from the beautiful Owensboro riverfront, boutique shopping, and delicious restaurants. There will be chances to win door prizes and two featured theme winners!
