River Valley Cluster Dog Shows

Watch hundreds of dogs across all breeds compete in various events Thursday, August 26 to Sunday, August 29 at the River Valley Cluster Dog Shows at the Owensboro Convention Center. Enjoy various competitive events, watch dogs get primped and prepped before their show, and explore all the vendors selling grooming supplies, toys, beds, and various other doggy supplies. Bring home a special treat for your own pup! Tickets for adults are $5 and free for children 12 and under. 

Concert on the Lawn: A Tribute to the Circus

Does your family love Frozen, Phineas and Ferb, or Lady and the Tramp? Pack a picnic and enjoy a night under the stars with the Owensboro Symphony, featuring Grammy and Emmy award winner Laura Dickinson, on Saturday, August 28 at 7 p.m. at Kentucky Wesleyan College. Dickinson is best known for her work on Disney animated works, but is performing selections from “The Greatest Showman” for an epic circus-inspired night. The show begins at 7 p.m., but family activities will begin at 5:30 p.m. Don’t feel like camping chairs and a picnic? Reserve a table with meal options here.
