The Brew Bridge is Owensboro’s first brewery in over 100 years, offering fantastic brews, a full-service restaurant and bar, live music, events, and more. The brewery boasts a large selection of craft brews as well as domestic beers and a huge outdoor patio space with prime views just off the Ohio River. Every Thursday during the month of July, they’ll host a karaoke night, release new beers, and announce a cocktail of the week. Farmer’s Market

A highlight during the summer, the Owensboro Regional Farmers’ Market, will open for additional days for the month of July. Now, support local and shop fresh produce every Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Shop over 30 local vendors with fresh produce, meat/poultry, baked goods, flowers, garden plants, coffee, wine, beer, and more. The Market is located on the corner of Triplett St. and Parrish Ave. Come find out why fresh is best!

 

Friday After 5

Friday After 5 is here to provide you with fun, free, family-friendly entertainment every weekend! This Friday, July 9, enjoy music from Josh Orion, Casey & Romy, All That, The SunBurners, and Mitch Rossell, the country singer-songwriter known for his performances with the legendary Garth Brooks. There will also be performances at WBKR’s Friday Night Flight, the winner-take-all talent contest that takes place over the course of the 16-week festival. The singer or band that wins the series is going to pocket $1000 and get to headline the Pier on Friday, September 3rd, the closing night of the season. In addition to all the great music, explore nearly 20 different food trucks, bar and drink stations near every stage, and local artisan vendors.
