Friday After 5 – Owensboro Night
Friday After 5 is where the weekend begins! The 16-week summertime festival will return on May 21 for “Owensboro Night.” The opening night has a stacked performance schedule featuring rock & roll, country, folk and bluegrass, and even reggae and electronic dance music. The headliner is the Baha Men, a Bahamian roots reggae band best known for their Grammy Award winning song “Who Let the Dogs Out”. Other artists performing include Aaron Goodvin on the Patio Stage, The Gaslight Boys at the Atmos Coutrtyard, The Underdogs on the Roman Subaru Overlook, and Hayley Payne on the Holiday Inn Riverfront Stage. Binge It!
We’ve all been there – staring at the TV screen after a long session of binging Netflix, hoping it’ll tell you what to play next. Musick Studios will make that choice easy at Binge It!, a live performance at the RiverPark Center on Saturday, May 22 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 23 at 2 p.m. Experience your favorite childhood shows come to life on stage as though you are flipping through the channels from the audience! Let the music from all the best sitcoms and classic series take you back to your childhood and enjoy the show(s)!
Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari
If you’re looking for something thrilling after a year of being locked in the house, look no further than Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari. The theme park opened last weekend, but this Friday, May 21, the Splashin’ Safari water park will open to the public. You can enjoy live performances, visits with Santa Claus himself, shopping, games, and more when you’re not riding their top-ranked rollercoasters or exploring one of the largest water parks in the world.
