Enjoy a night of music and art at Art By the Stars, a benefit gala for the Owensboro Museum of Fine Art on Saturday, June 5 at 6:30 p.m. Art by the Stars offers a unique evening out, featuring an exhibition and auction of works by a roster of “non-artist” business leaders, educators, and elected officials created with the help of the community’s outstanding artists. The event also includes live performances by local musicians. 

 

Summer Salute

Celebrate the community with the return of the Owensboro Symphony’s live performances at The Summer Salute, an outdoor concert featuring country music star Lee Greenwood at 7 p.m. on June 5. This is a free concert held at the McConnell Plaza across from the Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Owensboro/Waterfront. The Summer salute is a special collaboration between Lee Greenwood, best known for his hit song “God Bless the USA”, and the Owensboro Symphony. This night is all about coming together and paying tribute to the Owensboro community and it’s leaders! Several food trucks and a cash bar will be available. Sunset Cruisers

Cruise into downtown Owensboro for this month’s Sunset Cruisers Downtown Cruise-In. The month of June features General Motors. Enjoy the show from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 5. To enter the event, use 3rd and Allen St. All makes and models are welcome. There will be chances to win door prizes, plus two featured theme winners. Grab a bite to eat, do some boutique shopping, or enjoy a stroll along the beautiful Owensboro Riverfront while you’re there!
