Summer Salute with Lee Greenwood

Grab your friends and family and head downtown for a special night celebrating the community! Join the Owensboro Symphony for an uplifting night featuring country music legend Lee Greenwood at 7 p.m. on June 5. This is a free concert held at the McConnell Plaza across from the Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Owensboro/Waterfront.

 

The Summer Salute is an amazing collaboration between Lee Greenwood and the Owensboro Symphony to pay tribute to the community and its leaders after surviving such unprecedented times. Everyone knows the country music star’s hit song “God Bless the USA”, but the singer has so many more classic country songs perfect for ringing in the summertime. Paired with the talents of the OSO, the concert is sure to be impress. Owensboro is Greenwood’s second stop in his current tour around the country.

 

Several food trucks and a cash bar will be available at the event. Two options are also available for reserved pod seating: The Conductor’s Circle includes a table for eight and dinner catered by Lure Seafood & Grille, table service for cash bar, 25% discount at the Hampton Inn, and access to private restrooms. The outdoor concert with be socially distanced and will comply with Covid-19 safety requirements.
