Grammy Award Winner Dan Tyminski will perform two shows at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum on Saturday, April 10 at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tyminski has left his mark on bluegrass music playing guitar and mandolin for Alison Krauss and Union Station since 1994. His voice famously accompanies George Clooney’s performance of “I’m A Man of Constant Sorrow,” in the film, Oh Brother, Where Art Thou.  Tyminski and his top-tier band are ready to perform your favorite traditional bluegrass jams as well as new material from his latest projects. Boro Brawl Nationals

The Boro Brawl is a national wrestling competition held on April 10 and 11 at the Owensboro Convention Center, Owensboro’s state-of-the-art facility with over 100,000 sq. ft. of space. The event will run from 9 a.m. on April 10 to 5 p.m. on April 11. Click here to see the complete schedule of events. Currently, there are roughly 400 competitors attending representing 11 different states. Registration for competitors will end Wednesday, April 7 at noon CST. Out of town visitors can find special event rates for their hotel stays here.And when the competition isn’t taking place, don’t forget to explore all that Owensboro has to offer right within walking distance!
