Mother’s Day in the Garden

April showers bring May flowers, just in time for Mother’s Day! This time of the year, there’s no better place for an outdoor celebration than the Western Kentucky Botanical Garden. This Mother’s Day– Sunday, May 9– show your appreciation with a trip to the garden for their annual Mother’s Day tradition! Treat those special women in your lives to a celebratory lunch amongst the flowers from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 

Tables will be set up throughout the garden for a beautiful, socially-distanced lunch no matter where you are. Tables will be chosen on a first-come-first-serve basis. The menu includes Quiche D’Jour, fresh marinated asparagus with hearts of palm and artichoke hearts, fruit and “Miss Daisy’s Tea.”

 

It’s a beautiful time of the year and Sunday is set to be gorgeous weather. Reservations are required and can be made until Thursday, May 6 at which time reservations will be closed.
