We are finally gaining some normalcy, and Owensboro’s ready to welcome you back and help make the most of your Valentines weekend. Check out some of our recommendations below to make sure you have a fun and safe celebration with your loved ones!

Cork & Cuisine, Love Birds

Cork and Cuisine is back just in time for you to celebrate Valentine’s Day in style! Enjoy a V-Day themed menu to fall in love with plus special giveaways on Thursday, February 11 at 6 p.m. at the Owensboro Convention Center! The evening features a five-course food, wine, and spirits paring. Click here to view the entire menu! Special giveaways will also be part of the evening, including a bottle of each of the wines and spirits featured throughout the dinner. To allow for a safe, socially distanced celebration, no more than 6 people will be allowed to sit at a 66″ banquet table. Tables will be set 6 feet apart from each other to allow for proper social distancing. At this time, guests are also required to wear masks except when eating or drinking.

Mean Girls

Get in loser, we’re going to see a show! The RiverPark Center will host a one-of-a-kind interactive film experience surrounding the early 2000s hit Mean Girls on February 13 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Audience members are encouraged to cheer, clap, and quote all your favorite moments, plus use the complimentary goodie bag filled with fun items during the film. There will also be a shadow cast, or group performing your favorite moments during the film in drag!

For a small upcharge, ticket buyers will get access to a VIP pre-show experience at 5 p.m. Come write in the RPC Burn Book, play Mean Girls trivia, and experience Chris Eisel’s Halloween party games! An Evening with Travis Tritt

Plan the perfect Valentine’s Day date with your special someone with live music from CMA and Grammy award winning country artist, Travis Tritt! Tritt will perform on  Saturday, February 13 at 8 p.m. at the Owensboro Sports Center.  Enjoy a special evening featuring the multi-platinum artist in an intimate solo-acoustic setting performing some of his biggest hits, including “T-R-O-U-B-L-E,” “It’s A Great Day to Be Alive,” and “Best of Intentions.”  The Grand Ole Opry member will also share personal stories and anecdotes about his life and musical influences.

Tickets start at $49.  Event parking will be $10 in the Owensboro Sportscenter parking lot.  Click here to purchase yours now – capacity will be reduced to comply with Covid-19 regulations. Attendees will also need to stay in their seats unless using the restroom or purchasing merchandise or food/beverage. Masks or facial coverings are required unless eating and drinking while in your seat, and hand sanitizer will be aplenty throughout the venue. Seating has been assigned in groups of 1,2,3,4,5, or 6 seats.
