Throw in some killer music and …Something’s Afoot. Theatre Workshop of Owensboro presents its 2020-2021 season opener, the murderously musical romp into Agatha Christie’s mysteries, directed by Todd Reynolds. Travel back to the 1930s as ten strangers are stranded at the English country estate of Lord Dudley Rancour. The bodies pile up, as you scratch suspects off of your list.
The current pandemic has presented unique challenges to TWO, but as every theater goer knows, “The show must go on”. Director Todd Reynolds has staged “Something’s Afoot” in a way which will protect both the actors on stage and the audience members.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, TWO has developed set of protocols to protect audience members which exceed the recommendations of the both the US Center for Disease Control and the Kentucky Department of Health. The theatre’s policies and procedures were developed with the help of the Green River District Health Department and several employees of Owensboro Health. Precautions start with ticket sales; tickets are available only by calling the TWO box office at 270-683-5333. Tickets for Something’s Afoot are $20 for adults, $15 for children, and half off for TWO members. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Groups will be seated together and then safe spacing will be established between groups. All patrons must wear a mask while at the theatre. If you have questions about TWO’s precautions, please call the theatre at 270-683-5003.
