Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day In Owensboro

Did anyone else know that green wasn’t the original St. Patrick’s Day color?

It was actually blue.  It was only changed to green because Ireland is known as the Emerald Isle.

If you’re feeling like finding some gold on St. Patrick’s Day, here’s a few ways to celebrate:

Axe throwing

No, this is not an Irish tradition. Is it fun? Yes. Grab your friends and head on over to Escape Today for some arcade fun and axe thrown’. You might even find your way out of an escape room if you’re lucky…

Beef O’ Brady’s

Beef O’ Brady’s is one of Owensboro’s favorite spots to have a Sunday lunch or a fun Saturday night dinner with your friends and family.  And if you’re looking to have some authentic irish cuisine, it’s the go-to place to celebrate St. Patricks Day.

Louisville Crashers

Known for their rock and roll talent, The Louisville Crashers might just be one of the greatest cover bands in the world.  You don’t want to miss them at the Shamrock Bash at the Owensboro Convention Center. This is going to be a fun party that will start your St. Patricks Day with a bang!
