PBS is coming to Owensboro to film a special program called Bluegrass Now!, featuring some of the best all-stars in bluegrass music!
The concert is set for December 19 at 7 p.m. right in our very own Woodward Theatre at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum. This live show will be headlined by Rhonda Vincent and Jim Lauderdale, featuring other bluegrass stars including fan-favorites Alison Brown, Becky Buller, Dan Tyminski, Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen, Larry Sparks, Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, Missy Raines and Molly Tuttle. From stunning ‘up-and-comers’ to beloved Hall-of Famers, Bluegrass Now! celebrates the musical milestones and the breadth of the Bluegrass genre.
This is just one step toward the large goal of branding Owensboro as a tourism destination, the premiere location for music lovers in Kentucky.
