Boo Fest

Have a “spooktacular” time at Boo Fest in the Diamond Lake Resort this Friday and Saturday, October 4 and 5.  Enjoy pumpkin painting, games, pony rides, and a meal from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday night and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday.  Enter the costume, golf cart or whatever you’re driving, and campsite decorating contests.  There will also be a non-scary, kid friendly hayride during the day on Saturday as well as trick-or-treating at the campsites.  Keep your eyes open– the Diamond Lake “Boo Crew” is out to get you!

 

Cody Johnson in Concert with Special Guests

Cody Johnson is set to headline a special three-act show at the Owensboro Sportscenter on Friday, October 4 at 7:30 p.m. with special guests, Kentucky native, Tyler Booth, and Texan, Carlton Anderson. Johnson has been selling out shows from coast to coast leading up to his most recent record deal with Warner Music Nashville and his first album.  Now his energetic live performance is coming right to Owensboro! The SteelDrivers in Concert

The Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum hosts the Fall Bluegrass Concert Series, kicking it all off with The SteelDrivers on October 5 at 7 p.m.!  The Nashville-native group is known for their rock-n-roll edge on traditional bluegrass music.  Tickets start at $38, VIP tickets are $48.
