Convention & Visitors Bureau steps up promotions campaign

Owensboro is working to push their name internationally, now coining the slogan “bourbon, barbeque, and bluegrass”.  Visit Owensboro is buying two full pages in the Bourbon Review and maximizing their presence online.  Traffic from the Bourbon Review’s website and various social media gives hundreds of thousands of tourists direct access to Owensboro’s attractions.  New professional promotional videos will be shot to highlight all of Owensboro’s assets from Friday After 5 to O.Z. Tyler Distillery on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.  The new approach to advertising for the city hopes to highlight all of the things that make Owensboro an ideal tourist destination full of one-of-a-kind experiences and good ol’ southern hospitality.
