Tri-State Pickle Festival

The Owensboro Pickleball Association will hold the inaugural Tri-State Pickle Festival on Saturday, September 28th at Yellow Creek Park.  The festival includes a variety of attractions for the family with a free concert in the evening featuring winner of season 11 of “The Voice”, Sundance Head, as well as special guests Troy Miller, Alonzo Pennington and WildSky.

Pickle Festival activities include the Pickle 5K in the morning, a competition for the largest grown pickle or cucumber, as well as a pickle juice chug.  Bounce houses, food trucks, craft vendors and carnival rides will be set up throughout the festival site.

“Owensboro Idol” singing competition for ages 16 and over will be held on the small stage, judged by Ron Rhodes and Joe Bird of Eyewitness News!  One week before Pickle Festival, on September 21, there will be a Pickle Pageant, giving the winners an honorary role in Pickle Festival.  Click here to visit their website and keep up with announcements and updates!

Enjoy a beautiful day in a festival setting in Daviess County’s beautiful Yellow Creek Park– it’s going to be a big dill!
