The 23rd season of the areas favorite free summer series, “Shake, Rattle & Stroll”, will wrap up the season with a new set of live bands, family events, food trucks and entertainment this Friday, July 26 beginning at 5 p.m.!  The fabulous season finale features music from NKG, the “ultimate party dance band”, Chris Joslin, and Jericho Woods.  A complete schedule for the night can be found here.  Fun for the whole family can be found from balloon animals to the FAF Foto Booth to everyone’s Favorite Mice, courtesy of TD’s Tuff Decisions. Independence Bank Firework Festival

Join Daviess County Fiscal Court at the Independence Bank Fireworks Festival on Saturday, August 31 at Panther Creek Park.  The event begins at 5 p.m. and features all of your favorite family-friendly festival fun like balloons, inflatables, pony rides, a petting zoo, live music and multiple food vendors.  A spectacular firework display will start at 8:30 p.m.  Enjoy a beautiful night filled with family, friends and free fun as you say goodbye to summer.  Bring your own chairs or a picnic and watch the show!  Parking is free, and no pets are allowed. A Vision for Change: An Evening with Elizabeth Smart
