Bourbon and Bluegrass Century Bike Ride

The fourth annual Bourbon & Bluegrass Century Bike Ride, presented by Bicycle Owensboro will take place on Saturday, August 3, 2019.  The ride benefits Dream Riders of Kentucky, Inc., a non-profit organization founded in 2003 that offers equine assisted activities and therapies to individuals of all ages who have special needs.  Along with the full and metric centuries, there is also a 33-mile ride available.  The routes offer a few rolling hills and many miles of flat, rural roads through scenic western Kentucky including spectacular views of the Ohio and Green Rivers. Rest stops and water stations will be well-stocked and readily available throughout the ride.

On Friday evening, get ready for the ride with a mixer/packet pickup as well as distillery tours and bourbon tastings at O. Z. Tyler Distillery where the ride will begin and end on Saturday.  After the mixer, Owensboro has lots of entertainment on the waterfront including Friday After 5.  On Saturday morning, the event will open at 6:30 a.m. and the ride will begin at 7 a.m.  There will be a continental breakfast available to all before beginning the journey.  Afterward, enjoy a box lunch and live bluegrass performance for your post-ride entertainment. Registration is $55 per person and open now!  Click here to register online now.
