Get ready to ROMP!  The 16th annual ROMP Fest will return to Owensboro’s Yellow Creek Park from June 26-29 and features iconic artists and Hall of Fame members Ricky Skaggs and Del McCoury.  Additional acts include bluegrass and folk-rock favorites Trampled by Turtles, Americana music icon, Steve Earle & The Dukes, and returning fan-favorites including Sam Bush, Billy Strings, and The Travelin’ McCourys.   When you’re not enjoying performances on stage, check out the wide assortment of things to do around ROMP including artist-led workshops, food vendors, crafts, art installations, and children’s activities.  There’s so much to do!  Check out everything ROMP has to offer here.

 

Miss Daviess County Pageant

The annual Miss Daviess County Pageant, one of the Daviess County Lions Club’s highlighted events, takes place on Friday, June 28 at 7 p.m. at the Hines Center.  Girls ages 16-21 have prepared to compete in events ranging from evening gown to swimwear and interview, but only one will win the title of Miss DC. 

 

Air National Guard Band of the South

The RiverPark Center hosts A FREE performance from the Air National Guard Band of the South on Saturday, June 29 at 7 p.m. The Air National Guard Band of the South combines some of the best musicians in the country with a deep appreciation of the history and legacy of the Air Force, creating a patriotic jazz ensemble show like no other.  The Band of the South’s mission is to lift the morale and spirits of fellow Airmen while educating the public on the importance of the Air Force and Air National Guard.  Don’t miss your chance to experience it all live.
