2019 Dazzling Daylily Festival

The Western Kentucky Botanical Garden’s annual festival filled with flowers and fun begins this weekend on Thursday, June 20!  Enjoy thousands of blooming daylilies and fun activities in the garden through June 30.  Saturday, June 22, don’t forget to celebrate the main event featuring Artists in the Garden, children’s activities, food trucks and live music, tethered balloon rides, and balloon glow at nighttime.  Regular admission is free for all Botanical Garden members, $5 for adults, $3 for seniors, and $1 for youth.  Don’t miss out on this award-winning event!

 

2019 Annual Street Soccer Bowl

The 2nd Annual Owensboro Street Soccer Bowl will take place at Legion Park on June 17- June 23 in the evenings.  This event is all about a little healthy competition and fun for the whole community!  Divisions range from middle school (ages 10-13) to adult open (ages 18+).  Registration is now open, $200 if registered and paid in full by May 4.  After, the registration fee is $250 due by May 20. Riverfront Live!

Owensboro’s newest Friday night attraction!  Music lovers are invited to the Riverfront Stage at the Holiday Inn Owensboro & Burger Theory’s patio every Friday night beginning May 17 through August 30, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. for this FREE event open to the public.  This Friday, June 21, features Josh Merritt, local country artist known for stand-out live performances!  Lots of great regional and local talent will be featured over the 16-week period; check out the complete schedule of events here at the Holiday Inn Owensboro Riverfront Facebook Page.  Don’t forget to check out the food and drink specials offered by Burger Theory weekly!
