The very first Wendell Foster Half Marathon presented by Owensboro Health will take place on Saturday, March 23 at 7:30 a.m. The 13.1-mile race will take participants on a flat and fast route through Owensboro, Kentucky that begins and ends at the riverfront Smothers Park, perfect for a run or a walk with a view. The half-marathon will also be fully supported including some full and partial road closures and 12 water stations placed throughout the course.
Medals will be given to the top three runners in each age group, and the top competitors will be awarded $800 in prize money! Late registration for this event is $85 and is open until Monday, March 18. The Wendell Foster Half Marathon will sellout at 1,100 participants, so make sure you purchase now!
