Wendell Foster Half Marathon

The very first Wendell Foster Half Marathon presented by Owensboro Health will take place on Saturday, March 23 at 7:30 a.m.  The 13.1-mile race will take participants on a flat and fast route through Owensboro, Kentucky that begins and ends at the riverfront Smothers Park, perfect for a run or a walk with a view.  Medals will be given to the top three runners in each age group, and the top competitors will be awarded $800 in prize money!  Late registration for this event is $85 and ends TODAY!  The Wendell Foster Half Marathon will sellout at 1,100 participants, so make sure you purchase now!  Click here for ticket details.

 

Girls Day Out

Girls Day Out is back at the Owensboro Convention Center for another fun-filled day of fashion!  Grab your girls and shop some of the best beauty and fashion vendors on Saturday, March 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Admission is free!  Once you’ve shopped till you’re about to drop, enjoy food, free gifts, door prizes, and a live DJ!

 

Owensboro’s Got Talent

The Grand Finale is almost here!  After three weeks of preliminary shows, the 2019 Owensboro’s Got Talent Grand Finale is this Saturday, March 23 at 7 p.m. at the Theatre Workshop of Owensboro’s Empress Theatre.  Owensboro’s finest have competed for their spot in the competition, but only one can win the first-place prize of $1,000!  Second and third place contestants are awarded cash prizes of $500 and $250.  This is sure to be a showdown you don’t want to miss!  Tickets are $18 for adults and $12 for students.  Click here to buy yours now.
