West KY Boat & Outdoor Show

Take care of all your hunting, fishing, camping, and boating needs at the largest outdoor show in the region!  Plus, it’s FREE!  The Owensboro Convention Center is hosting the West KY Boat & Outdoor Show, formerly known as the Kentucky Sportsman Show, Friday through Sunday, February 1-3, 2019.  The exhibition will be open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. 

 

Graves Bloodline Concert

The Bluegrass Hall of Fame and Museum presents The Graves Bloodline Concert, a live show celebrating Hall of Famer Josh Graves and his iconic blues-y slide guitar style.  This is a FREE event in the Woodward Theatre on Friday, February 3 at 7 p.m.  The celebration features the music Graves made famous and helps explain who he was as he evolved from Tennessee mountain boy to Bluegrass Legend.  Doors open at 5 p.m., and the concert begins at 7 p.m.  Don’t forget to arrive early and explore the Josh Graves exhibits as well as enjoy live music in the lobby before the show!

 

Morte for 2 Dinner & Performance

Theatre Workshop of Owensboro hosts this dinner-performance fundraiser to help meet TWO’s competition expenses as they advance to the regional SETCFestival!  Chef Matt Weafer will present a delicious dinner of Guinness Pie with a side green bean salad as well as Irish Bread Pudding and Whiskey sauce for dessert.  Dinner will be served Saturday, February 2 at 6:30 p.m. with the play to follow.  Morte For 2 features two one-acts that uniquely address the personal subject of death and has won several awards at KTA competitions.  Tickets for this fundraiser are $30.  To purchase tickets, click here or call (270) 683-5333.
