A Salute to Bluegrass Music

Celebrate Owensboro’s rich culture!  As a tribute to the grand tradition of bluegrass music, the opening reception for A Salute to Bluegrass Music is Saturday, November 10 at the Owensboro Museum of Fine Art from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  The opening reception will present an exhibition of 100 works of art by the best-known artists of the Appalachian states, designed to celebrate the opening of the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum.  The exhibit continues through January 29, 2019.

Museum Hours:  Tuesday through Friday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.  Saturday and Sunday 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

 

2018 Kraftucky Arts & Crafts Expo

The 5th annual Kraftucky Arts & Crafts Expo is Friday through Sunday, November 9-11 at the Owensboro Convention Center! Just in time for the holidays, shop for unique handmade creations in jewelry, clothing, pottery, décor, woodwork, and much more!  Shop ‘til you drop from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.  Admission to Kraftucky is just $3 for adults and free for children under 12.  Click here for more information on the exciting events Kraftucky has to offer!

 

The Infamous Stringdusters in Concert
