Fall at the Farm

“Fall at the Farm” is October 18-20  at Cecil Farms and the whole community is invited!  Hayrides, concessions, pumpkins for picking and family photos will be available at this fun FREE event.  A photographer will even be on hand to capture your family in front of the beautiful farmland and lake for just $10.  Hop on a hayride and pick your perfect pumpkins for cooking fabulous pies, for carving and for decorations at this family-friendly event. 

Carden Circus

Revisit the magical memories of your childhood!  Carden International Circus is coming to Owensboro on Saturday, October 20 from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Owensboro Sportscenter. For over 50 years the Carden family has been bringing an astonishing and awe-inspiring show to people across the country. This event showcases amazing feats of athleticism with their aerial acrobats, to their magnificent elephants, awesome tigers, and so much more for the entire family.  Come early and enjoy the pre-show fun and pick up some souvenirs on the way out!

Grand Opening for the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum

The Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum celebrates the grand opening of its new home October 18-20.  Saturday, October 20 features FREE concerts on the outdoor stage!  Coined “Downtown ROMP,” it is a full day of music beginning at 1 p.m. with performances by High Fidelity, Front Country, Town Mountain, and headliner Yonder Mountain String Band.  A capacity crowd of 1,500 is expected, so head downtown early to secure your spot.   This is a highly anticipated event and your first opportunity to check out all that the hall has to offer including a variety of permanent and rotating exhibits, educational and entertainment opportunities, music lessons, and more!  Don’t miss out!
