Owensboro Symphony Orchestra 2018 Season Preview

The Owensboro Symphony Orchestra’s fifty-third season, filled with both classical and contemporary favorites, begins at the end of this month.

On Saturday, October 27 at 7 p.m., the Owensboro Symphony returns for a monumental Opening Night of great music in the RiverPark Center’s Cannon Hall.  The performance highlights the mix of adventurous projects the symphony plans for the season, including two rock-star pieces, Queen’s iconic ballad Bohemian Rhapsody and Beethoven’s epic Fifth Symphony. It is an event that is guaranteed to lift the audience to their feet!

Individuals interested in purchasing season tickets to all five concerts in the Symphony’s Subscription Series can do so now through October 26 and receive up to 25 percent off the price one would have to pay to purchase a single ticket to every concert!  A new subscriber can get a ticket to all five concerts for as low as $175.

Benefits to season subscribers include the ability to purchase additional single tickets for any concert of the season for only $30 each.  Subscribers also receive concert reminders, special offers and event invitations and can also release their seats prior to a concert and receive a tax donation receipt for that contribution.

This highly-anticipated season is a celebration of the best in classical, film, and popular music.  Come hear for yourself what all the buzz is about!  Click here for more information and the complete list of Symphony Series performances.
