2018 River Valley Cluster Dog Show
Don’t miss the Annual River Valley Cluster Dog Show at the Owensboro Convention Center August 23 through 26! This special event is sponsored by the Owensboro River City Kennel Club, Southern Indiana Kennel Club, and Evansville Kennel Club. AKC judges officiate the competition of conformation, obedience and rally trials. Come enjoy the furry competitors, watch the grooming process and learn about different dog breeds. There will also be vendors present with various canine items, raffles with prizes and other fun activities! The show starts at 8 a.m. every day and continues throughout the day until Best in Show is announced. Tickets are $5 for general admission and $3 for children under 12 or seniors over 60. LoCash Friday After Five
LoCash, the ACM-nominated and Reviver Records hot country duo, will return to Friday After 5 on August 24 at 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the Owensboro Convention Center lawn for another outstanding concert! Concessions will be available for purchase throughout the night. No outside food or beverages are allowed. All other Friday After 5 events will continue as scheduled including VooDoo Slim, a rock dance cover band, 6:30 pm-10:30 pm, on the Jagoe Stage on the BB&T Plaza at the RiverPark Center. Grab your family, friends, and a few lawn chairs and enjoy the show!
BPA Back to School Bash
The BPA (Baseball Players Association) Back to School Bash takes place at Fisher Park on Saturday and Sunday, August 25 -26. This travel baseball tournament is for ages 7u through 11u. The gate fee is $7 per day or $10 for a weekend pass. Come out and support the players!
