Friday through Sunday, September 14-16, all eyes will be on the skies over the Ohio River for the 2018 Owensboro Air Show!
Don’t miss your chance to get up close and personal to a wide range of military and civilian aircraft on static display at the Owensboro- Daviess County Regional Airport. From 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday you’ll have a chance to meet some of the pilots of these aircraft and experience a taste of the Owensboro Air Show. As the sun begins to set, several performers will take to the sky with an evening spectacle of nighttime air show performances followed by fireworks to conclude the night, presented by Independence Bank. Admission to Friday’s events is $5 per person. Kids 10 and under can watch for free!
On Saturday and Sunday, from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., catch performances showcasing vintage warbirds, aerobatic demonstrations, and military jets, including the amazing U.S. Navy Blue Angels! Admission on Saturday and Sunday is free for all– don’t miss out!
Brings chairs and blankets or find seating in McConnell Plaza and Smothers Park to enjoy the show! If you’re looking to find the best seats in the house, reserved seating is available at the Owensboro Convention Center lower terrace.
