2018 ROMP Fest

The 15th annual ROMP Festival will take place June 27-30, 2018. The River Of Music Party (ROMP) Festival will return to Owensboro’s Yellow Creek Park led by iconic artist, Alison Krauss, bluegrass and country music legend, Ricky Skaggs, the ‘Father of Newgrass,’ Sam Bush, and Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame member, Doyle Lawson.  Jam out at the stages, check out the food and craft vendors, explore the trails, and dance the night away at the Late Night Stage!

 

Trunnell’s 10-Year Birthday Celebration

Celebrate Trunnell’s 10-year birthday and enjoy the festivities on Saturday, June 30 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.  Spend the day at the farm and stay late for the Movie & Firework Show that will begin at dusk.  Trunnell’s will be sampling all the delicious flavors they offer along with delicious fruit ciders!  Trunnell’s labeled products will be 25% off.  The first 250 visitors will receive a FREE birthday cake!  Anyone celebrating their own 10th birthday or anniversary during the month of June will receive free admission to the Family Fun Acre on June 30 when you provide proof of your big milestone. O.Z. Tyler Distillery

During ROMP, you can take the shuttle out to O.Z. Tyler Distillery to explore some of the rich history in Owensboro.  Recently opened to the public, tours through the distillery provide a behind-the-scenes look at how Kentucky bourbon whiskey is made.  After you’ve seen how it’s made, you’ll get to taste the end product in the speakeasy-style tasting room! The O.Z. Tyler shuttle will run between ROMP and the distillery throughout the festival.
