Dazzling Daylily Festival with Balloons Over the Garden
On June 22-30, view thousands of blooming daylilies and celebrate the summer at Owensboro’s 9th annual daylily festival. With over 800 varieties of daylilies, daylily tours, hot air balloon rides, daylily dig beds, twelve themed gardens, children’s playhouse, a conservatory, artists, displays, music and art activities, there’s so much to explore! Regular admission is free for all Botanical Garden members, $5 for adults, $3 for seniors, and $1 for youth. Art by the Stars
Art by the Stars is a benefit for the Owensboro Museum of Fine Art for “Celebrity Artists” who created works of art to be auctioned at the benefit. Art by the Stars will take place at the Owensboro Museum of Fine Art on June 23, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person and $40 for Friends of the Foundation.
