Kaleb Lee, semi-finalist on NBC’s The Voice, is performing at Diamond Lake Resort Good Time Theatre on June 9 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Lee, who is originally from Marshall County, Kentucky, was a fan favorite through each round of the singing competition beginning on Blake Shelton’s team and stolen by coach Kelly Clarkson.  Owensboro will have an opportunity to hear Lee perform an acoustic show followed by a meet and greet.  Tickets are just $10 and kids six and under are free.  Tickets will be available at the door.

The largest video game expo of any anime event is returning again to take over the Owensboro Convention Center June 8-10.  The theme for 2018 is Overwatch!  This annual three-day event brings together anime, video games, tabletop, and general fandom for a weekend of fun and excitement.  There will be special guests such as voice actors and artists, dealers for getting those hard-to-get merchandise, and special events like cosplay and video game tournaments!

Owensboro Lion’s Club Soap Box Derby

The Owensboro Lions Club is hosting the Local Soapbox Derby Race at Ben Hawes City Park on June 9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  This is the last local race before the 81st All-American Soap Box Derby held in Akron, Ohio.  Come support the Lions Club and cheer on the racers!
