O.Z. Tyler Distillery Joins the Kentucky Bourbon Trail

Calling all bourbon fanatics! It’s time to show the world what Owensboro, Kentucky is all about.  The O.Z. Tyler Distillery is officially joining the Kentucky Bourbon Trail on Monday, June 4 as a Heritage member.  O.Z. Tyler will be a part of the highest-ranking level in the organization alongside Jim Beam, Maker’s Mark, Four Roses, Heaven Hill, Michter’s, Evan Williams, Wild Turkey, Woodford Reserve, Angel’s Envy, Bulleit and Lexington Brewing and Distilling Company. A special ceremony will commemorate the milestone, including planting an American White Oak Tree to memorialize the achievement and a congratulatory bourbon toast.

Did you know 95% of all bourbon in the world is made right here in Kentucky?  “The industry is in the middle of a $1.2 billion building boom, from innovative new tourism centers to expanded production facilities, all to meet the growing global thirst for Kentucky Bourbon,” The Lane Report stated in 2017.  With over a million people traveling the Bourbon Trail every year, the addition of O.Z. Tyler is a game-changer for tourism in Owensboro.

O.Z. Tyler Distillery makes their bourbon unlike anywhere else, and prides themselves on their patented TerrePURE process which produces some of the best bourbon in the world. Not only does TerrePURE remove impurities to reveal a more pleasant taste, but the rapid filtration process results in quality levels that would otherwise take 4-6 years.  Spirits that have been refined with the TerrePURE process have won numerous medals for their superior quality in national and international taste competitions.  Try it for yourself at an O.Z. Tyler tour or purchase it in your local liquor store.  Book your tour here
