  1. American Cornhole Organization regional event

The Owensboro Convention Center will host one of the ACO Masters Series Major Tournaments of the ACO Season 13 Heartland Conference. Gates open at 11 a.m. on Jan 19 and 9 a.m. on Jan 20. Events include: Slyder Cup, Senior Singles, Women’s Singles, Junior’s Singles, World Silver Ticket For Singles and Doubles, Social SilverTicket Singles and Doubles, Mini Doubles, Coed Doubles, and Frame Games.

Whether you’re competing to win or cheering on the sidelines, this event is sure fun for the whole family!

  1. Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus

This off-Broadway hit comedy show based on the number one best-selling book from acclaimed author, John Gray has been entertaining thousands of people and letting them see themselves in their own relationships. The show is a hilarious one-man theatrical comedy!  This hysterical, fast-paced performance is for adults, but will have the audience laughing and giggling like kids!

The show takes place at the RiverPark Center on Jan. 19 at 8 p.m. and Jan. 20 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

  1. Live Penguin Shows at the Museum of Science and History

Visit with a live African Penguin and learn everything about penguins from the folks at the Newport Aquarium’s Wave Foundation! The shows take place at the Museum of Science and History on Jan. 20 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Admission to the museum is only $5, and the Live Penguin Shows are included in the admission price.
