Fireworks Celebration

Celebrate the City Bicentennial with a Birthday Party on downtown Owensboro’s riverfront during the All-American Fourth of July on Tuesday, July 4. The annual celebration will include live music throughout the evening, food vendors, and the 4th Fest inside the Owensboro Convention Center. The Bicentennial Birthday Party will take place at 6:30pm with a signature cake marking the occasion and free cupcakes for the first 1,000 people. The Daviess County Fiscal Court will be joining the City for this occasion as a show of community support.

The Owensboro Convention Center will be hosting their annual 4th Fest presented by Kentucky Legend in their exhibit halls starting at 4pm. The 4th Fest will include interactive games, activities, and food for the whole family. There are also opportunities to reserve a seat or an entire table with a buffet dinner in prime view of the fireworks on the terrace. Purchase your reserved seating tickets at www.owensborotickets.com.

To cap off the evening, watch the skies above the Ohio River light up with the City’s largest fireworks display along with some of your favorite patriotic music at 9:15pm. Be sure to get there early to set-up your lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy an evening full of fun entertainment for the entire family.
