Visitor Services
The Convention & Visitors Bureau provides services to conventions and meetings that 
select Owensboro as their meeting site. All of the CVB's services are available upon request and at no charge to the group. The only requirements are that the group has a block of sleeping rooms at one or more of our hotel properties and the CVB be notified at least two weeks prior to the meeting date.
Pre-registration and on-site registration clerical assistance is offered along with name badges and inserts. Convention supplies provided are an Owensboro Visitors Guide, a 10x13 convention envelope and a small post-it note pad. A calendar of events and the regional visitor guide are also available. We are glad to assist in planning an itinerary that fits your group. Step on tour guides are also available to show you our wonderful city.
Conventions and meetings are an integral part of tourism in Owensboro, and services are provided to ensure the success of meetings held here. If you are involved with a group that qualifies for our services, please have your meeting planner call Vickie Filbin at the CVB office for assistance.
